About bacteriostatic water

Water for injection with 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic agent, supplied in a 10 mL Type I glass multi-dose vial. Intended exclusively for experimental reconstitution of lyophilized peptides in the laboratory.

Benzyl alcohol inhibits microbial growth once the vial septum is pierced, allowing fractional use across multiple reconstitutions within the stability window documented in the laboratory SOP.
